Nearing 20 years as an electronic music producer, the Kanagawa-based artist Haruyuki Yokoyama has a distinguished sense for the dynamics between playful trickiness and delicate minimal. Originally inspired by electronic music from the mid 90’s, he has come to develop his own characteristic sound. Montage is a five track EP that connects his early electronic experiences to today’s minimal techno wave.

The closer on the EP, ‘Warp’ remixed by Ramacod, is a generous sneak peek into the music of the uprising spanish talent on Klangscheiben, who has been featured multiple times on the label, this time revealing a side that speaks a more fluent microfunk, thus completing Haruyuki’s work with an alternate note.

Haruyuki has released his productions on a variety of labels such as Snork Enterprises, 31337, Klangscheiben and Doma Musique.
